The heavy duty nylon pivot combined with clever use of rivets takes all the pressure from the weight of the user without compromising the strength of the seat.
The seat is made from a 600D fabric, which is one of the highest thread counts and tightest weaves used for this type application. The fabric has also been double coated and is abrasion and tear resistant as well as UV resistant so it won’t discolour from extended use in the sun.
Setting Up the Slacker Stool
It takes literally seconds to set up. The convenient Velcro strap which secures the chair in its folded position needs to be loosened and stool can be opened into a seated position. It’s quick and convenient for when you’re too exhausted from a long hike to hassle with levers and latches.
